Al-Forat island

[edit]

What is "Al-Forat island" mentioned in the first line of the article? According to Taghlib, the Taghlib tribe "originated in Najd, but inhabited Upper Mesopotamia ... from the late 6th century onward." Najd and Upper Mesopotamia are both landlocked. ِAl-Forat is the Euphrates River. Technically it is not an island, but it is the area consisting the plains between the Euphrates and the Tigris.
