There is/was a computer language Ampere; roughly like Pascal, but with types also being given dimensions (of the MKSA, or other, nature). Dimensions were checked by the compiler in expressions; F = Ma would compile, but F = M/a would not. 82.163.24.100 (talk) 15:58, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
