I have removed the tags for deletion. The comment The IHF does not list American Samoa as a team... so it doesn't appear to exist was incorrect. I encourage editors to check their comments are correct before tagging a page to be deleted. --HandballHero (talk) 22:25, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So then why does neither external source provided seem to assert its existence? And why did everything else the article's creator made get nominated for deletion as a hoax? And why did the original creator also end up blanking the page when it was brought up? Especially considering if it does exist it seems completely unnotable and the article seems to contribute nothing to wikipedia. I encourage editors to check the background of things and discuss them candidly before commenting about other editors in an accusatory, passive-agressive tone.
And, while unable to find articles corroborating its existence, I can find ones that make its existence sound wildly improbable. Like this one where the guy in charge says the sport is so unknown, it's even hard to get a kids' team going there:
