End of Stifler family tradition?
[edit]why is stifler not the main character in seventh installment?, right from steve in first part to erik in 6th part, they were all funny. Infact presence of steve stifler which made American pie all the more funny, i also liked the way character gets more and more importance as the series progressed.
It should be Rob Stifler, another distant relative of steve and the first of second generation stiflers.--60.243.161.52 (talk) 15:55, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
American Pie: Hole in One isn't an American Pie movie
[edit]So looking this movie up everything states that this isn't an American Pie movie and just some cash in by using similar names like instead of Eric Stifler, its Eric Talley. I am sorry but it isn't an American Pie movie and think it should be taken down. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aimuser3111 (talk • contribs) 05:29, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
I would disagree. Hole In One absolutely belongs for 2 reasons. 1) It's from Universal, the studio behind the American Pie series, and 2) Universal put the words American Pie on the poster/DVD box art. It's like Ace Ventura Jr., The Two Jakes, A Christmas Story 2 or National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure where people do their best to pretend these movies don't exist, but they do. They even call him Eric Stiffler in the trailer. 2601:1C2:1701:C380:A4F2:B397:B191:DA04 (talk) 09:49, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
I agree this isn’t an American Pie movie. The words American Pie are on the poster and cover only as a promotional use, not in the title itself. It’s essentially saying this movie is “American Pie meets Billy Madison”, but that does not make it a part of the series. Rcarter555 (talk) 13:17, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
American Reunion should have seperate page
[edit]Due to the recent flow of information concerning the most recent theatrical installment in the American Pie Franchise, including list of cast and crew, American Renuion should be given a seperate page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.30.111 (talk) 05:21, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- The consensus is that not until filming has taking place (which is next month, if I believe, for this film) should an article be created. Many things can happen until now and filming. If filming begins, the chance of the whole production stopping is very minimal. Thanks for understanding. PS. American Reunion does exist, but it redirects to the Future section of this page. —Mike Allen 05:46, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Changing the character list
[edit]The American Pie films should be seperated as far as the character list placement is on Wikipedia from the spin-offs, for rather obvious reasons. Does anyone else concur? --86.180.252.71 (talk) 00:44, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- Not a judgement for Wiki to make; Noah Levenstein is in all 8 films, so continuity is obvious. Darrenhusted (talk) 14:37, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
Hole in One: American Pie Plays Golf (2010)?
[edit]Shouldn't Hole in One: American Pie Plays Golf be added to the spinoff list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by WarthogCC (talk • contribs) 08:22, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
