For one thing, it would be interesting to know what has become of this institution. We learn about the 1940s and, of course, we remember the great Sidney Poitier and Harry Belafonte, among many others — but what about the ANT after 1950? Did they close down, have they persisted until today, did they change their name and prosper with it, did they fall prey to the pandemic? Jochen64 (talk) 20:43, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Being neither a native speaker of English nor perfectly familiar with its usage, I wonder: is it acceptable (for people of non-African descent) to speak and write about the American Negro Theater, calling it by its historical name yet not clashing with today's rules of speech?
