American Musicological Society: Talk page
[edit]I wrote an article for the New Grove Online in 1997 that forms the basis of this article. NGO declined to publish what I sent them, for reasons they did not share. This replaces a stub.
History
[edit]As of 2012, AMS does have a nice history. Anyone want to tackle it? -- kosboot (talk) 23:44, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Proposed edits: COI
[edit]Hello! I'm currently employed by the American Musicological Society, representing a COI, and was hoping to get a neutral editor to look at these changes before implementing them.
Purpose --> The American Musicological Society exists to expand understanding of music and sound through research, teaching, learning, and advocacy.
Additionally, I was hoping to add two more sections: one on grants, and one on awards given by the society.
