Typo?
[edit]Forgive me if I'm doing this wrong, I'm new to wikis. "The shortened face means the American Longhair can suffer the same breathing problems as their longhaired cousins." In bold, is this a typo and is meant to read "Shorthaired" because of the American Shorthair, or is it correct and actually referring to the Persian breed? if so it should say "Persian cousins". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.160.191.96 (talk) 23:06, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Removal of uncited, possibly original research
[edit]This article has been tagged as required citations/references since 2008. When I do a Google search, the top site, besides Wikipedia, is "Mysmell.com". Not saying it's not a valid source, just that I'll not be the one to cite it. I will remove what I believe is original research. --Ifnord (talk) 04:31, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
Aargh!
[edit]I, User:Catn7 am very angry because I will not believe that the person responsible for deleting American Longhair and calling it a Maine Coon has looked at thousands of websites on the Internet containing American Longhairs and Maine Coons and seeing that they say they are not seperate breeds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.215.23.203 (talk) 22:29, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
