Beit Taneen merger
[edit]An article has been created at Beit Taneen for House 104. Per the notability standards, it does not warrant an article of its own, but it seems to be a useful inclusion here. Barring objections, we'll merge it here. —C.Fred (talk) 16:45, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, is there any support for the merger, or should the article just be deleted? —C.Fred (talk) 01:47, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
I think the article on Beit Taneen is worthless and should be deleted. --216.54.213.67 13:00, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
I liked the Beit Taneen page =(. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.50.70.6 (talk) 18:27, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
In light of the recent news re: Beit Taneen's role in the color war upheaval, I think it would be worth reopening debate on the merger of these two pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.26.122.108 (talk) 21:41, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- Only if it's something truly notable that happened. We don't need details on every intramural competition in the article. —C.Fred (talk) 05:17, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Class size?
[edit]I can find the other information at the Academy's website, but not class size. Other than first-hand knowledge, can anybody point to where we can find the class size info? —C.Fred (talk) 03:34, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
There is information about class size in the promotional fliers. Unfortunately, I haven't got any of those. ^^; —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.54.213.67 (talk) 23:34, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- i went to the website and have found that the classes are on average 12 students. they like to keep it small for ore hands on activity —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.242.0.232 (talk) 03:47, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
Controversy section
[edit]Surprisingly there is a controversy section here in this school article. Why? Is it a source of controversy? Between whom? The answer is that it is not controversial, as there is no "strong disagreement or public debate" over the subject. Additionally, there is similar and just as public evidence of malfeasance at much larger and considerably more prestigious schools across the country. Yet, despite this school's relatively tiny size, the article maintains a "controversy" section. See this article regarding St. Paul's School in Concord, NH--noting the eighth paragraph. St. Paul's School. Yet, no mention of this in SPS's article. Or any school article with similar circumstances. Therefore, considering the lack of "controversy" I am deleting this section. --Stoopideggs2 (talk) 15:56, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- The section is probably mislabeled. "Dismissal of arrested staff member" might be a better section heading. However, even though they did everything right, mentioning it—and especially to that length—in the article is giving it undue weight. I agree with the deletion of the section. —C.Fred (talk) 16:03, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Once again, for the above reasons, this section has been removed. --104.162.216.188 (talk) 03:44, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
