Fair use rationale for Image:3106 b4f349bbe8202e64bdcac38cbe872b18.jpg
[edit]Image:3106 b4f349bbe8202e64bdcac38cbe872b18.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

For some reason this page will not display the Canadian Hot 100 under Charts, but is still actually on the edit page. Anyone know how to make this chart appear?

iTunes Single
[edit]I was wondering if the paragraph about how the single was pulled from the US iTunes store should be removed, since it is currently for sale as just a single now. FWIW, the entire album is for sale at the store, and only 2 songs are album only, neither of which is American Boy. Terrillja (talk) 17:58, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

– For this category, I don't think there's any primary topic. The other songs may have been popular at times. 68.44.51.49 (talk) 18:02, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- I would normally be inclined to agree but the stats of each of the other articles on the disambig page would lead me to believe otherwise. American Boy: A Profile of Steven Prince 1100 hits[1], The American Boy 175 hits[2], American Boy (Eddie Rabbitt song) 170 hits[3] and American Boy 5500hits [4]. Special:Whatlinkshere/American Boy doesn't seem to show any misdirected links, so I don't believe users are being directed to the incorrect content. - Oppose, this is obviously the primary topic. --The Evil IP address (talk) 15:38, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

Previous Version
[edit]I'm puzzled at the lack of any reference to the original version. Parts of this number are clearly from a much earlier one. I'm guessing, but I'd say about 30 years ago. The lyrics and music are patched in from the original version, yet there is no acknowledgment of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PeterDRG (talk • contribs) 15:52, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
