Private, for-profit corporation

[edit]

A psychology blogger and former AACC advisory board member, Dr. Warren Throckmorton, reported in September 2018 that "according to all evidence publicly available, the AACC is a for profit business owned by Tim Clinton." and is not a "not-for-profit and are run by representatives elected by members" like many professional organizations. I added "Inc." to the name and "corporation" to the first sentence to clarify that this organization is a business entity and not a nonprofit. I also cited the Virginia business entity listing, but was not able to find a reliable source other than Dr. Throckmorton's self-published blog. I'm not sure if Dr. Throckmorton's blog qualifies as a reliable source although I've followed his blog for many years and know his writing to be reliable. --Nojam75 (talk) 14:53, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
