ABDC Wikia
[edit]Wassup, I'm looking for people who know alot about ABDC and wikia stuff. If you are one of each or both, then go to www.abdc.wikia.com and help out edit and create pages for the site. So far only 4 articles has been created because ABDC Wikia started on Sept. 2nd. Please help make ABDC wikia a better place for ABDC sources. Oh, my username on that site is Squallinoa_08. I'm the admin on that just so you know. So if you are a huge fan of America's Best Dance Crew, sign up at www.abdc.wikia.com now and help edit some pages and make ABDC wikia a community for ABDC sources. And who knows, maybe you'll become an admin or moderator just like me, lol. Thank you. Bja808 (talk) 05:19, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Tell the Truth about Rigging Controversy
[edit]We should be careful to make sure that the page is not vandalized, but there is alot of evidence if you blog that the votes were rigged on this show. There are about 20-something blogs (TV guide, MTV, Yahoo Answers, etc) that each have as much as 2000 posts as of three days since the last episode that highlights how ridiculous this has been. If you read all the posts, there are very strong evidence that this is not natural East/West Coast nor racial voting dynamics. In fact there are a dozen similar accounts of MTV employees speaking out that the votes were rigged and populous backlash that the voting had to of been rigged by the obscene outcomes. I believe this is wikipedia's duty to at least allow users to report that there is this controversy and outcry. The backlash is a fact and this is how early beginnings of fixing a problem is solved. I'm sure the outcry will just grow as it has only been 3-days. Thetruth77777 (talk) 18:31, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- Blogs and message boards are not reliable enough and therefore information from these sources are not encyclopedic. However, a section of controversy can be added with reliable sources. (See WP:RS). Reorion (talk) 20:07, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Kaba Modern's Encore
[edit]It should be noted that Kaba Modern performed their own encore at the end of the 7th episode.[1]
Seasonal Break what?
[edit]What seasonal break?68.8.104.62 (talk) 04:30, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Finish reading the template. It has not yet finish its broadcast run, it is not on break. Reorion (talk) 07:02, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- So uhh, why don't shows like American Idol have this tag if it's not finished with its broadcast run? 68.8.104.62 (talk) 02:40, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- I added the template because this series does not yet have a separate season article (such as American Idol (season 5), etc.). American Idol and other reality shows have separate season articles. If you would like, you can remove it but it allows the other readers to know that this article will be updating dramatically until the season finale of the season. How long is the shows run?
[edit]how many episodes are gonna be made? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.185.134.189 (talk) 03:42, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
I hope they don't make more :o --96.60.54.195 (talk) 17:42, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Changing the colors on the legend
[edit]Please keep it the same color as it was previously and do not change it because you did not like the color. If there is a problem (such as the color are too similar), please report here on the discussion page. Reorion (talk) 00:58, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Results
[edit]Why are people placing results into this article when the results are currently not documented? -Animesouth (talk) 21:37, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- That's because the live taping is (was?) on Tuesday. It doesn't air on TV 'til Thursday. Someone963852 (talk) 00:55, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Lock the Page?
[edit]I think it might be a good idea to lock this page up temporarily, especially after tonight's episode. Many people (myself included) felt like Kaba Modern was robbed of their second place position, but some of the people who hold these sentiments seem intent on vandalizing this page. While I don't agree with the results of the show, I'm sure they were fair, it's just the rules of the game didn't work to put overall good teams on top, rather it eliminated them on an episode by episode basis so one screw up and you're out. Anyway, my point is this, regardless of what people's opinions are about who should have been the finalist, there's no point in vandalizing the show's page over it. Could anyone with the ability to please consider locking down this page to avoid vandalism, at least temporarily? Or ask someone who could? FantajiFan (talk) 03:48, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
No locking please. Ari 0384 (talk) 00:37, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- I second this. 68.8.104.62 (talk) 03:50, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Table
[edit]I added the table here, please someone update it with the CORRECT information. I have to go, but if it's not done by tomorrow I may do it. I saw it from the page From_G's_to_Gents and I liked it. Ari 0384 (talk) 00:37, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Are they Paid?
[edit]Are all of these super-talented dance crews being PAID for all of their time in these competitions? They're making lots of money for the corporation, & they have to buy outfits, plus room & board with NO income! And they only win $100,000 to split between 5 or 6 people? That's a cheap capitalist corporation for you. Stars4change (talk) 02:36, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
- Even though this isn't a forum, to answer your question: The 100 grand is split between the members and all the crews are paid to appear each week. [3] [4] Someone963852 (talk) 18:11, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
International distribution
[edit]Somebody please add MTV Germany --84.191.81.103 (talk) 15:34, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Season Summary
[edit]I like the new, shorter season summary chart that only displays the winners, other crews, and judges. But I noticed the user omitted all of the crews who were eliminated during the Live Auditions Special/Regional Competition. If anyone is reading this, should we keep them or not?
On a side note - for the current and future seasons - if your favorite dance crew loses, don't take your anger out on the articles and screw with the results! Wolf of Ice =3 01:44, 16 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolf of Ice (talk • contribs)
Overview - 10 Best Performances
