November 20, 2015 - Massive Update
[edit]Hi all,
I've updated the entire page to a more modern version and re-wrote the content to include additional information that was previously not noted before, including singles that were released and charted, line-ups based on album releases and credits.
At this point, we need more references for the content and for someone to do the actual timeline, as that is outside my skills. --LuvataciousSkull 23:22, 20 November 2015
Current Events
[edit]So i wrote a little blurb about the fact taht a new lineup has been announced, and that the new album should be out this year. I don't know how far done they are with the album, or how many new songs they've been playing, i just threw up teo sentences explaingin my limited knowledge on the subject. Anyone who knows more, please feel free to fill in more info where necessary.
I also got rid of the slew of instruments that Casey was listed as playing in the "Current Members" section. It just looked funny having Casey listed as playing bass & guitar and then lookinh down and seeing the two additional guitarists & bassist.
Scars Article
[edit]So someone needs to start policing the Scars on Broadway article, as some asshole keeps deleting Casey from the lineup of the band, which is BS cuz he started the band with daron, so him not being a member of the band would be like devin townsend getting kicked out of strapping young lad.65.43.220.243 13:39, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Rew-write
[edit]I'm going to give this a shot... because at the moment it is a total mess.. and misses many former members. - Deathrocker 18:49, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Good, it needs it. I'll try to help when I can. On the subject of former members though, I would only mention those who are credited in liner notes, or give details as to each musician's tenure with the band, as is on the Nine Inch Nails article. I also lean towards a comparison between the two; Both bands have essentially been one member doing writing and studio recording duties with backup for tours, except recently having adopted drummers for studio sessions (Shannon Larkin and Dave Grohl respectively). I can't think of any other "bands" who use that kind of method. --Switch 19:56, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
I agree with Switch on this one. There's no need to mention every musician that played a show or a tour if they are not credited on liner notes. Also, reference to Mike Bordin as a drummer? I'm not aware of Mike Bordin ever playing drums with AMEN.
Someone REALLY needs to rewrite this article so it's in a NPOV. Nightside eclipse 20:32, 15 February 2006 (UTC)Nightside_eclipse
- Thinking the same thing. Tagged. Nova Prime 03:32, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- My older version was a little less POV, maybe it should be moved back until a rewrite is done. This reads like a fan biography. --Switch 09:50, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've sorted the POV out a bit, partly by removing a load of allegorical stuff about songwriting credits and living in huts in Norway, or somesuch. Does anyone think the article needs some references? Dancarney 21:29, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
- I think it needs references badly, especially that part about him co-writing "B.Y.O.B."....--68.252.175.50 15:31, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- he did win a grammy for co-writing BYOB, and yeah he did live in a cabi in norway, though thats not really relivant
- source please? i'd like to believe you, but i don't recall hearing anything about this--69.213.152.186 10:53, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- Seeing as Malakian claims Chaos didn't co-write the song, I doubt he got any credit from the awards. --Switch 15:54, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Please reference where Daron claimed this? It would be very valuable information to Casey himself, considering he's listed for songwriting credits with ASCAP.
BYOB
[edit]Casey did, indeed co-write B.Y.O.B., and I have the reference needed;
ASCAP database search engineJust type in B.Y.O.B. and look at the second result (which you can see is System's song). He's the FIRST writer credited. CHMIELINSKI CASEY KARIM (Casey Chaos' birth name. If you do not believe so, click on the name and see a long list of AMEN songs he is credited with)
Unfortunately, the Grammy website does not list individuals in a group who received awards, only the group as a whole, but considering Casey Chaos is credited with ASCAP as a songwriter, one can only assume he indeed would have received the award for the song (which he did).
hey, here is his certification http://www.officialcaseychaos.com/press/2006/Grammy!!!.jpg
CASEY PAGE
[edit]can anybody manage some more autobiographical info about casey chaos? is there a reason amen & casey chaos aren't seperate pages? ta
