Amazon subsidaries
The unionizing efforts of Whole Foods, and Mechanical Turk (Turkopticon) are worthwhile to include here Shushugah (talk) 14:24, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

Italy
With irony, it:Organizzazione_dei_dipendenti_di_Amazon (the Italian language edition) is marked for deletion, due to lack of notability/encyclopedic value Shushugah (talk) 23:20, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- Czar On Italian page Surdus is proposing a rename. I personally am fine with the redirect suggestions he has, but would prefer Amazon worker organization. That said, I do think making it plural, ie Amazon worker organizations, would clarify it's multiple organizations, since Amazon is truly one of those behemoth companies, with behemoth organizing initiatives. Shushugah (talk) 11:44, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Shushugah I don't think "organizations" is appropriate here, because the word "organization" in the title of this article refers to efforts to organize (in other words unionize) workers (definition 1 here), rather than a group of people acting as an entity (definitions 3/4 here). Proposed merge of Amazon Labor Union into Amazon worker organization#After Bessemer
There is full topical overlap between these topics. The Staten Island organizing effort is covered within context of the larger Amazon warehouse organizing effort. czar 07:11, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
- In short agreed. I'd change the section from "After Bessemer" though, since that's an arbitrary point in time. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 18:53, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Czar done. I redirected it to Amazon worker organization#United States so that it wouldn't be negatively impacted by 3rd level section renames. I did a selective merge, leaving out most of the personal background of Chris Smalls. Hopefully easy enough to compare/contrast if I left anything out. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 20:09, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
