- Nicely done, thanks for this excellent article. The history section and the final section that tells of efforts expand amateur radio in India are the most interesting. Was there any involvement by amateur radio in the current unfortunate events in Mumbai?

Just an observation...
...and it may not belong here, but does the ubiquity of mobile phones have any impact on HAM radios, especially given that India is one of the largest mobile phone markets? Excellent and amazing article, btw. --Gurubrahma (talk) 09:37, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. One word — apathy. Public perception is when you have a mobile phone, why then use a ham radio set which does not offer the same quality? =Nichalp «Talk»= 11:11, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
