What language for the track listing?
[edit]This is just minor question and doesn't need answering immediately. But due to a recent edit [1] I would ask what track listing language should be used. The English version because we're in the English part of wikipedia, or the French version because Yann Tiersen as well as Amélie are French, as are most of the songs' names? – sgeurekat 18:09, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the UK release of the soundtrack album includes only the French titles, so I say we run with that. Kinitawowi 14:35, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Why is the track listing hidden? Isn't that the most important part of this article? --Antonio.sierra 03:01, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Limited edition with extra tracks?
[edit]It seems there is a limited edition version of the soundtrack which has 4 extra tracks, namely "L'Autre Valse D'Amélie (Version Quatuor À Cordes)", "les deux pianos", "La Demarche" and "La maison". Can anyone verify this and maybe add this to the page? 82.139.84.56 (talk) 12:06, 8 February 2008 (UTC) I found it listed on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Soundtrack-Fabuleux-Destin/dp/B00005QZY7. 82.139.84.56 (talk) 12:11, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Amélie Soundtrack.jpg
[edit]Image:Amélie Soundtrack.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

A new cover needs to be added
[edit]American rapper Wale used "La Valse d'Amélie" as a sample for his song, "Diary" off of his debut album Attention Deficit.

Tracklisting
[edit]As of 2014/01/11, the tracklisting here shows 28 tracks, 8 of which are not actually found on the [http://www.amazon.com/Amelie-Soundtrack-Recording-Yann-Tiersen/dp/B00005O6PA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1389459834&sr=8-3&keywords=Amelie "normal CD"], and 4 of which are not found on the [http://www.amazon.com/Soundtrack-Le-Fabuleux-Destin/dp/tracks/B00005QZY7/ref=dp_tracks_all_1#disc_1 "limited edition"] (which I only found because it was linked in the section above). For additional track citations, see also Discoggs, which attempts to list all the releases of this album. Almost all listed there show 20 tracks, with just this one showing 24. None show 28. Is there possibly another overlooked edition of this? Can anyone cite it?
If not, 4 tracks need to be removed. I didn't do a thorough comparison, but the tracks present in the article which are on neither of the above discs appear to be as follows:
- 4. "Comptine d'Été n° 2"
- 10. "Adagio For Strings" (composed by Samuel Barber)
- 11. "Quimper 94"
- 21. "Naomi"

It appears to be a list of the music in the film in the order that the tracks first appear rather than a track listing of the soundtrack album. I'm going to update it. EkeW (talk) 08:38, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
