Tables listing a player's appearances in a major tournament
@Jeff in CA I believe the tables simply listing a players' appearances in a major tournament would fall under WP:NOTSTATS. There isn't any relevant information here that wouldn't be better conveyed in prose form in the 'International career' section of the article. My opinion is that following the format in Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players would be better. Joeykai (talk) 21:21, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A lot - and I mean a lot - of pre-2015-ish women's footballer articles have such a table (if not one of all international appearances). I'm inclined to assume it was a standard at one point, but agree that prose would be a marked improvement. Fixing them all would be work and if it is because of a previous standard format, it might need a consensus discussion if you wanted to change all of them; as it is, you can probably BOLDly edit this article with your comment here as the edit reason. Agreeing with the above, it's excessive and unneeded. RSSSF would be a more appropriate venue; we have lists for international goals because they are of higher significance than caps. SounderBruce04:42, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
