Question

[edit]

I do not mean to be annoying, but why is this article still protected after so many years? Adding these listed names (new and duplicates) to the article would require simply copying and pasting. Please consider doing so? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8807:A788:6800:8D27:F5EE:8EB6:ACB5 (talk) 20:44, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Could an auto-confirmed Wikipedia user please add this vital information to the article?

[edit]

Please replace the names in the article with these names. (Some of them are duplicates of the article's listed names, but I organized them.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8807:A788:6800:5078:F831:E871:6588 (talk) 23:46, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I concur. It is probably due to confusion: the Queen Dido article states that "Dido", not "Elissa", may have this meaning. The text ", meaning 'wanderer'" and its citation should be deleted. (It would also be appropriate to copy the more reliable claims from the Dido article, although I cannot verify the citation in French.) 2601:240:D200:FEF:82FA:5BFF:FE19:F8E4 (talk) 23:11, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done: I removed that claim and added a citation needed tag for the first half of the sentence as well. Volteer1 (talk) 07:19, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Alyssandra as a variation spelling

[edit]

Alyssandra is a variation of Alyssa and Alexandra, formed from a portmanteau of Alyssa and Sandra.
