Dates

[edit]

A few more dates of development and service would be good. 88888 14:20, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The dates of production and service would improve the article. As it is, the only date is usage in Cyprus in 1974.--TGC55 (talk) 21:00, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Honduras

[edit]

There is a photo of one of these in front of the presidential house during the 2009_Honduran_coup_d'état[1][2]. Need to find a cite though.©Geni 19:31, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pitiful state

[edit]

As of now, the article unfortunately is in a very pitiful state. From an encyclopedic point of view, the article lacks coherence and a clear layout about what belongs where (for example why is the section about the Indonesian military's use in the middle of the "History" section, as this clearly is not part of the vehicle's developmental history but rather part of a non-existing section about contemporary usage in that country's military). From the language point of view it seems clear due to a plethora of grammatical errors that many sentences/paragraphs were written by non-English native speakers with only limited knowledge of the English language. The entire section "Surviving vehicles" seems rather pathetic regarding the fact that the Saladin is not a historical "museum" vehicle where only a handful of pieces have survived the passing of time but quite contrary the Saladin is still alive and kicking, being deployed in active service by numerous militaries around the world. --89.0.109.12 (talk) 14:51, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

May I commend my website www.4and7royaltankregiment.com chapter 1961-64 which details the extensive use of the Saladin armoured car in the Radfan campaign by the Fourth Royal Tank Regiment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.254.74.72 (talk) 21:52, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Service history

[edit]

It could not be used in the Korean war! It was built 5 years after armistice. I removed this info from the article.
