On November 14, 2004, the Dallas Morning News, published two articles about Nnabuife. The titles were "Linebacker provides happy returns for Mustangs SMU 38, NEVADA 20," and "Mustangs make it two wins in a row SMU 38, NEVADA 20 Nnabuife scores on two fumble returns to spark third-quarter surge." The articles report on a game in which Nnabuife, playing in his second game at linebacker, scored on two fumble returns to spark a third-quarter surge for SMU. It was an unusual feat for a defensive player to score two touchdowns in one quarter. Also, one of the fumble returns was for an SMU school-record 95-yards. Nnabuife also became the first SMU player to score two touchdowns on fumble recoveries in a game. Anyone choosing to look this up might find some good information to use in improving the article.
