Start with a plan

[edit]
This article seems to be a well-intentioned but pile of random stuff and factoids. I mean: read the first paragraph. Readers expect to see organized plan for COMPOUNDS, not alloys, not reactions, not electron configuration, not Al metal. Why not start with a plan, then fill it in. Greenwood and Earshaw is a good starting point, perhaps. Another possible plan is below, but we need to start with a plan.

Oxidation state (III)

  • halides
    • binaries
    • ate compounds
  • binary chalcogenides
    • binaries
    • ate compounds
  • organic derivatives (see organoAl)
  • metal organic complexes
