Mix up?
[edit]This article is a strange mixture of information about two different castles, one in Switzerland and another in Germany about 100 miles North. The photos and navbox appear to relate to the Swiss castle, I have photos but little information on the German castle. The infobox photo is the German castle, the other photo is of the Swiss castle. - @Nimbus227: This article is about the one in Switzerland. Could you tell me (or remove them yourself) the ones of the German castle? I got the pictures from the Dutch Wikipedia so maybe that's why. Anarchyte 04:46, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- The infobox photo (File:Oberkirch Schauenburg.jpg) is definitely of the Oberkirch (Baden) castle, the other photo appears to be of the Swiss castle. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 09:13, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- The "History" and "Modern day" sections, and their sources, are clearly about the castle at Oberkirch, Germany, with its restaurant with web site. Quite a mess. PamD 11:50, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- I wondered about just deleting the stuff about the wrong castle, but it might be better to copy it into a new article about Schauenburg Castle (Oberkirch) or similar, with all the apropriate templates recording the history of the articles - see WP:PROSPLIT. PamD 12:03, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- That means all my hard work on this article a few months back wasn't as useful as I originally thought... Anarchyte 12:11, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

@Nimbus227 and PamD: A year later, I have created Schauenburg Castle (Oberkirch). I hope this clears up any further confusion. Anarchyte (work | talk) 10:55, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, good stuff. Cheers Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 17:22, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
- Looks good - I've tweaked the dab page and added a hatnote to the Swiss castle. Thanks. PamD 18:08, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
