I left Alsop High School 42 years ago but I think it has an institutional history dating back before the date of 1919 given in the article. I seem to remember learning as a schoolboy that its origin was as Webb's Academy in the late 19th Century. The original school premises were in Evered Avenue, off Rice Lane, about a mile from the present school. Unfortunately I have no source for this info other than my very fallible memory.Radex09 (talk) 12:35, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
lifestyles?
[edit]"The PE Department runs activities that include... lifestyles..."
Pardon my ignorance, but what does 'lifestyles' mean in this context? Tsuguya (talk) 21:26, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- I know that "Lifstyles is a fitness company with centres all over Liverpool. I think that the sentance means that they have a Lifesyles centre. which i found here: [1] The word might make sense if your from Liverpool but it should definitely be re-written and explain what it is for people outside the city.
