This article refers to murine bowel alpha-defensins, one of the earliest examples of proteins of the class. Most of the information seem to apply to bowel or just all mamallian alpha-defensins in general, so merging is probably a good idea. --Artoria2e5 🌉 17:06, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
- I agree, the cryptdin information would be better summarised within the alpha defensin article. Most of it applies to alpha defensins in general. It could also be mentioned in a history section given the mouse and rabbit cryptidin historical relevance ([1] [2] [3]). T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 01:40, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 14:45, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]80.230.84.59 would like to point out that the article "Needs referencing to role of alpha defensin in coagulopathy in covid19". (Moving here from the top of the article itself.) --Yair rand (talk) 19:30, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
