First Negro drugstore
[edit]Peoples' pharmacy was not the first Black drugstore in Charleston. Two sources support this: Charleston, [1], 1884 p. 103, had M.H. Dingle (c) at 73 King St. listed under drugs and medicines. "C" was the designation for colored. In [2] Dr. McFall says on p.70 that Dr. Dingle was the first Negro to open a pharmacy in Charleston and it was located on King St. I recommend removing the first.--Mlh414 (talk) 15:51, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
