Re-creation

[edit]

@Explicit: you asked to note why the fund is significant and can be written about on Wikipedia. Almaz Capital is one of the oldest funds operating in the Russian venture capital market (Yandex company which is Russian Google — is among its investments). One can say that Almaz paved the way for other Russian funds, like Runa Capital (which, by the way, was intended to be a seed fund at Almaz). The history of the foundation is described in detail in the media, including in the editorial publications of Russian Forbes: for example, the material of 2007 and the article of 2013. I translated my own article from Russian, which I wrote as a paid author. The previous article, which was rightly deleted, was an ad and was not very well supported by sources. Now everything should be ok. --Gruznov (talk) 22:25, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, there is a lot of substantantial secondary / neutral sourced coverage and the page exists on Russian wiki since 2008 -- Shemtovca (talk) 20:34, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • The nominator seems to misunderstand the purpose of speedy deletion procedure that was designed for pages that have no chance to meet the requirements of Wikipedia. Almaz Capital had passed WF:AfC and was moved to mainspace. I believe that the deletion tag should be removed. Gruznov (talk) 20:56, 8 July 2019 (UTC) Gruznov (talk) 20:54, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
