Coordinate error
[edit]{{geodata-check}}
The coordinates need the following fixes:
- The point listed is in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico[TYPE HERE]

- I agree that the coords which were in the article are incorrect, but I cannot find the community. Frankly, I have some serious doubt that it is a community at all, but is rather just a beach in or near Panacea, Florida. I've removed the incorrect coordinates for the community/beach and added the correct coordinates for the Bay, which is as close as I can find. — TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 14:11, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- I was able to locate the Alligator Point Marina, which is on Alligator Drive, on the shore of Alligator Harbor. Its postal address is "Panacea, FL," but, unlike Panacea itself (which is in Wakulla County), it's in Franklin County, where the article text says Alligator Point is located. Further confirmation is in the fact that the phone number listed for the
Alligator Point Marina is in the 805-349 prefix, which is the prefix for the Alligator Point rate center. I think that's our "Alligator Point." The coordinates are 29.905°N, 84.417°W. I am adjusting the article accordingly. Lincmad (talk) 09:11, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
