[edit]Allen West made a great and notable contribution to death metal and deserves a page.
Wikipedia...Overkilling Notability Again
[edit]This is the exact same thing that happened when I tried to write an article for Mike Clark. They must have redirected it 3 times before I finally got enough material in there to make it an article.
Allen West is notable simply for being the lead guitarist for a groundbreaking death metal band Obituary. That alone should deserve an article for him. I could also add that he was in Six Feet Under as well, and that he uses the whammy bar a lot as part of his guitar style, plays Ibanez, and had to temporarily leave Obituary in 1990 and was replaced by James Murphy.
Short, but a lot of notable information. I don't even know that much about this guy (I'm kind of a more casual Obituary fan. The obsessed fans could come up with some other stuff I don't know probably too.) I would request that this article be re-written, and if it's not "notable" enough for your standards at least re-direct it to Obituary. --Protozoic Waste 13:10, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Quick Edit
[edit]Changed beginning of "year active" to from 1988 to 1983 because that's when he formed Massacre with Kam Lee, Bill Andrews, and Rick Rozz. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.126.24.230 (talk) 05:27, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
