Accidents
[edit]The following unreferenced material was added to the 2002 Japanese Grand Prix as a note - as much of it has nothing to do with that race I thought it could perhaps be worked into this article, where it seems more relevant:
- Allan McNish crashed hard during Saturday qualifying. Coming off the famous 130R corner, McNish's Toyota slid left; he swung back to the right, but overcorrected, and backed so hard into the guardrail, he went through it. McNish was OK, and hasn't raced (he was Test Driver for Renault the following year) in F1 since (Toyota had already announced he wasn't coming back for 2003). However, he still races in sports cars. This wasn't the first major accident McNish had been involved in. In 1990, during a Formula 3000 race at Donington Park, McNish and another car touched wheels; McNish's car sailed over the wall, and came to pieces. His engine landed on a spectator, killing him.

F1 infobox placement
[edit]Given his extensive and illustrious career in sportscar racing, the prominence of the F1 infobox in the article, which represents a footnote of his career, is quite unwarranted, particularly in how it places the LE Mans infobox in the limelight. 79.168.34.192 (talk) 23:16, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- I've (merged and) reordered the infoboxes to list his Le Mans career before his F1 career and added his sportscar titles. DH85868993 (talk) 00:17, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
