[edit]Hello, in regards to the performance of 'All This Time' in the UK, the single wasn't actually promoted by Tiffany in this market upon release. This is the reason for its poor performance, rather than the fact it wasn't the debut single. She promoted her second album's 1st UK single debut 'Radio Romance' heavily in the UK and it performed better. So, in short, lack of promotion is to be blamed for the poor performance. I'd actually venture so far as to say this is the reason for all of the HAOFH singles performing badly in the west as she was simply too busy being globally active to promote them properly in any single territory bar Japan, where her numerous TV commercial deals kept her in the limelight without her actually being there for more than a few days. This is interesting on two counts. I'm sure the record company knew her and her ilk were a dying breed by early 1989 and so put little effort into selling a 'product' that was going out of fashion. Japan, however, still had a hunger for dance pop and also a much more relaxed attitude for celebrity endorsements which meant the record company probably focused efforts on that market, to the detriment of western fans, as there was very little to loose and a whole lot to gain. This was proved true in later years when her fourth original studio album 'Dreams Never Die' was released exclusively in Asia. Fair use rationale for Image:Att-l.jpg
[edit]Image:Att-l.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
