University of Leeds
[edit]The article seemed to have completely missed off the fact that he graduated from Leeds University in 1986. He's one of our famous alumni! BNC85 16:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Wimbledon
[edit]Did he really commentate at Wimbledon? He definitely appeared on the BBC's coverage of Wimbledon but all I saw of this was him perform a few dodgy tennis-themed impressions. I'd rather be cautious about removing the text about that in case he did actually commentate, but I certainly didn't hear it. Can anyone confirm whether or not he was a commentator at Wimbledon? Thanks, Llyntegid (talk) 20:04, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
- He does not seem to have been part of the commentary team which is listed here: BBC line-up for the 125th Wimbledon Championships. As you say, he was mostly doing tennis themed impressions. Corotletha (talk) 10:09, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
Ethnicity
[edit]Anglo-Indian does not mean of mixed parentage. That is a false assumption. Therefore the statement that his "father had an ethnically Anglo-Indian background" is incorrect.101.98.210.38 (talk) 04:45, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
- Anglo-Indian people fall into two different groups: those with mixed Indian and British ancestry, and people of British descent born or residing in India. See here: Anglo-Indians: Is their culture dying out? Corotletha (talk) 10:12, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
