1971
[edit]Was she really born in 1971? That makes her 14 years older than James Alexandrou who she acted alongside in EastEnders. Their characters were the same age. anemone│projectors 23:23, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Filmography list
[edit]It looks like we might be developing an edit war over what to list in the filmography section. I'm of the opinion that we don't need to list appearances as guests on TV shows or footage showing up in later episodes of Eastenders. Thoughts? Chris Neville-Smith (talk) 20:39, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed, plus whoever reverted me made the article a mess again. AnemoneProjectors 22:41, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Archive footage is pointless including because it's just clips. Clips can be shown on anything. Guest appearances on TV shows are also pointless. Actors make appearances on many talk shows, etc. If we included them, these articles would be endless lists of pointless, meaningless information. It's the same reason we don't add every single TV appearance for singers and bands. AnemoneProjectors 22:48, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
The Alison Pargeter Wikipedia page update
[edit]I have contributed to the Alison Pargeter Wikipedia page and updated it, I have made it even ten times better then the over version which was on the Wikipedia page before so I hop you like it.
Please don't change back the Alison Pargeter Wikipedia page to how it was before it is now fine as it is.

- Some of the updates you have made are fine, but any information given about living persons' personal lives must be backed up in reliable sources. Please see WP:BLP for the policy on biographies of living people. Chris Neville-Smith (talk) 19:01, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
Was Alison Pargeter in the 1986 film Little Shop of Horrors?
[edit]I think I might have made bit of a discovery, In the 1986 film Little Shop of Horrors there was a young girl in the dentist surgery and she looked very unmistakable and her voice also sounded very unmistakable too, And her hair was the same color to Alison Pargeter's, I think it might have been Alison Pargeter who saw in the film Little Shop of Horrors but I am not sure, I know Alison Pargeter was born in 1971 and it is very possible that it might have been her but I just want to be sure.

- Would she not be credited on IMDB for it? –AnemoneProjectors– 08:41, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
No the IMDB does not say that Alison Pargeter was in the film Little Shop of Horrors but I have see some other programs that Alison Pargeter has been in but and thay where not on IMDB at the time, like once Alison Pargeter appeard in a episode of The Bill called Billy the kid and it was screened in 2001 and it got added IMDB last year, Also she played the role of Mary Slessor in the Mary Slessor TV series in 2008 and it got added to IMDB some weeks ago, It is very possible that not all films and TV programs with Alison Pargeter are not on IMDB.

- The girl with the brace? You know, it does look like her but it's so hard to tell. We can't add this to the article anyway, unless it's backed up by a reliable source. –AnemoneProjectors– 19:52, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Yes that's right the girl with the brace, Is there any possible way of finding out if it was Alison Pargeter or not in the film Little Shop of Horrors by getting it confirmed by the actress Alison Pargeter herself?
5 April 2011 78.144.244.201 (talk) 21:39, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
- You could try contacting her agent but it would still be original research so we couldn't add it even if they confirmed it was her. –AnemoneProjectors– 22:11, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Alison Pargeter's date of birth
[edit]I am sure conform that Alison Pargeter was not born in 1972 because I looked up her IMDB page and it said that Alison Pargeter was born on the 31 May 1971 in Oxford shire and it also tells you that Pargeter was born in 1971 on her Numerology Monthly Forecast website and also it tells on that website Alison Pargeter was born on Monday 31 May 1971 so that means she must of been born in 1971 unless we here otherwise.

- IMDb is not generally considered a reliable source for biographical information, particularly for biographies of living people. I have no idea what the "Numerology Monthly Forecast website" is, but I can't say that it sounds hugely reliable. The relevant guideline for checking sources is Identifying reliable sources. Do you think the website would meet that? Unfortunately a lot of information (and misinformation) gets recycled amongst websites, and a lot of it originates from Wikipedia. Hi just to conform that I have now found out that Alison Pargeter was born in 1972 and when I said she was born in 1971 sometime ago, I was worng and it was my mistake and she was actually born 31 May 1972. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.96.208.69 (talk) 19:58, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- Do you have a reliable source for this? –AnemoneProjectors– 16:50, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
Yes I have actually seen Alison and she has actually told me that she was on born 31 May 1972.

- See the policy of verifiability. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:48, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
- To clarify, we can't change the article just on your say-so. We need an actual reference for the correct date of birth. (See also the policy against original research.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 21:56, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
- With an emphasis on "previously published". –AnemoneProjectors– 16:18, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
