Economist Obiutuary

[edit]

The Economist magazine (Feb 21-27 British Print edition p88) has some useful information about this remarkable woman that other editors may find useful in adding more material to this stub. 82.30.246.35 (talk) 14:09, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/24.130.129.41 removed a comment about AdF being one of the first to warn of the genocide in Rwanda, which I have reverted. If you want to discuss this, then I suggest you do it on these pages. MJD. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.30.246.35 (talk) 14:40, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism removal

[edit]

I doubt this is how you do this but I suggest removing the "criticism" section of this article as it is based off the writings of a contemptuous "independent human rights investigator" which I will not go through the trouble of naming. His bias is directly observed in the tone of this section and I wouldn't doubt if he wrote it himself. While there may be some truth to the whole corporate conspiracy concept of the Rwandan genocide, I find the presumptuous tone of certainty in this section of the article offensive. Especially considering it's "criticism" about someone who has recently died after a lifetime of effort in human rights. It sounds more like reaching grand-conspiracy accusations made by someone who wasn't there and didn't like the side of the story she told. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prestondennett (talkcontribs) 04:49, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for posting on this page too. Some other editors might have posted here first, but it's not important. I too have been uncomfortable with this section (and I toned it down after it was added). Unless any other editors object, I suggest we let it stand as it is now with the section removed. Hallucegenia (talk) 18:41, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alison Des Forges the racist, Hutuphobe and Zionist

[edit]

Alison Des Forges is thought of as both an Hutuphobe and a racist Jewish supremacist by Rwandans, Burundians and DR Congolese whom have known her. Could the criticism section be restated with this further information? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.36.142 (talk) 00:50, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
