Stub

[edit]

I noticed that {{US-business-bio-stub}} has been added and removed from the article. If there is a dispute it is best to discuss it on the talkpage (right here) to reach consensus. Incidentally if the next person to edit the article would remove the double spacing in between the paragraphs that would be nice :-)--Commander Keane (talk) 14:48, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The article states she is a certified public accountant and and insurance analyst. Sounds like a business person to me. Perhaps a writer-stub tag should be added also. -Nv8200p talk 13:53, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This is a start class article.--DThomsen8 (talk) 20:28, 2 May 2013 (UTC)--DThomsen8 (talk) 20:28, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

== Inferior to the Lowenstein Biography ==

The Schroeder book is very thick, and the author seems to have thrown in everything but the kitchen sink. But what reader can profit from some of the word choices, such as "bullshit legalese" (page 568) or "fuck" (page 586).

There's also ersatz wording such as "backstory" (page 573). It would be "back story" in any event, but there's no such thing as a "front story" and every story includes a past (its "back").

On balance, the Schroeder book seems superfluous in view of the superb Lowenstein biography, and adds nothing to the public understanding of Buffett.
