Alice Jane Jamieson's Parents
[edit]Alice Jane Jamieson was born 14 July 1860 in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States of America. She was the daughter of James William Jukes (b. 1839, Burmingham, Warwickshire, England) and his wife Isabella Duxbury (b. 1835, Carlyle, Cumberland, England). Her father immigrated from England about 1852, settling in Connecticut and later moved his family to Chicago, Illinois, sometime between 1872 and 1875, where he and Isaac L.
