Ali Shan → Ali Shan (cricketer) – Google "Ali Shan" and the top results all deal with Taiwan's Alishan (either Alishan Range or Alishan National Scenic Area). Ali Shan should redirect to Alishan the dab page. Timmyshin (talk) 10:14, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose I think a hatnote to the disambig page would work best here, as there are no other wiki-articles with this exact title. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:17, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Support major mountain ; @Lugnuts: the cricketer is a micro stub, Books News cricketer not even found. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:58, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Support as
The fact that an article has a different title is not a factor in determining whether a topic is primary
(WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT); the cricketer doesn't even get as many page views as the dab itself let alone the items on the dab [1]; the mountain clearly has greater long-term significance; and Pinyin guidelines for proper nouns call for a space between "Ali" and "Shan" (so many readers will search for the mountain using the title Ali Shan even if sources in Taiwan usually spell it Alishan). 59.149.124.29 (talk) 01:48, 12 September 2018 (UTC) - Support: the criketer is only marginally notable; a redirect to the dab page makes sense.
