The issue seems tricky to me as well, though only authentication could be found in biography page, as in inside back cover, in any of his printed works. (Ekabhishek (talk) 05:44, 17 November 2008 (UTC))[reply]

The correct year is 1913, according to his nephew, Perwaiz Jafri's original documents (perwaizjafri@yahoo.com) and the official website (www.sardarjafri.com), click biography to the right.
