ALI BAKSH QUESTION
[edit]It seems unlikely the Ali Baksh founder of Patiala gharana is the same Ali Baksh - Bismillah Khan's uncle. The techer of Bismillah Khan was a shehnai player, and Bismillah's father was also a shehnai player from Bihar. What is the Patiala connection? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.210.60.214 (talk) 14:37, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- There are more than one musican having the name Ali Baksh, this singer who is considered to be one of the founder of Patiala Gharana has nothing to do with Bismillah Khan. This singer carries the title of "Jarnail" which was bestowed upon him by the Nawab of Tonk. I have changed the title of the article to clarifiy the ambiguity.
