Language codes
[edit]I took that the three letter codes are language codes. eus is Basque, but what is roa? --Error (talk) 23:34, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
It's the ISO for the Romance languages collectively, I think it was used because it's not sure what the giver language is, Spanish or French maybe. Akerbeltz (talk) 00:59, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you, I couldn't guess. I think that I first read Normandia chave andia, I thought that it was a case of the monogenetic theory of pidgins. Chave and cognates are one of the terms that could be transmitted from Sabir to Portuguese pidgin and to many other pidgins and creoles. But I don't have a reference for that. --Error (talk) 19:32, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
