The other Alfred Craven

I am removing the section on National Register of Historic Places. Since Alfred Wingate Craven died in 1879, he could not have worked on the subway more than 30 years later! That work was by Alfred Craven, the son of Alfred Wingate Craven's brother Thomas Tingey Craven. See biography in New York Times, Feb 1, 1914.JoeBrennan (talk) 22:19, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Many references incorrectly report his death on 29 March 1879, but his death on 27 March 1879 was reported by The New York Times on 28 March 1879. – Maliepa (talk) 17:19, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
