Controversies
[edit]The claims in the section now titles 'controversies' don't site sources. RJFJR 16:00, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- I have been removeing the negative "controversies" info per the living persons bio policy. I have no doubt that it would be informative to add information regarding the controversy that Alfred Kahn may have sparked. However, it needs to be done in an NPOV and sourced manner.Qball6 19:16, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Random Guy from Internet: To be honest I don't see the big deal of putting all the controversey he sparked over his lifetime. I mean thats what he is going to be remembered for so it might as well be put on his wikipedia page.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.190.120.134 (talk • contribs).
- The problem is that a lot of the information that was being added was poorly sourced and borderline libelous - Wikipedia has a strong policy against adding that kind of information to biographies of living persons (WP:BLP). It's OK to discuss controversies in a balanced and well sourced way, but that has not been the case with this article.--Kubigula (talk) 16:00, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
I made an edit to this explaining how al Kahn and his company 4kids entertainment were confused as to why they would licence one piece and it reverted to an older version of the Alfred r Kahn article and I would like to know why this is so Kirbopher2004 (talk) 08:21, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Awards
[edit]There was a section on awards at 4Kids Entertainment which consisted solely of an award for Mr Kahn. I have moved it here, since it's much more relevant. I may take a look at expanding this article in the near future. --Haemo 10:16, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well done - it's definitely better to have that content here.--Kubigula (talk) 16:00, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
