I'll start this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:04, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

- Unlinked Ranger. Hawkeye7 (talk) 07:38, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- When was he promoted to Captain? Some of these jobs would seem to be at that grade rather early in his career.
- It would have been in 1941. He isn't on the captains list in November 1940 Hawkeye7 (talk) 07:38, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- Legion of Merits are bog-common at flag rank. Not at all sure that they're worth reproducing per se. Can't you integrate the material into the text somehow?

- Typo: successfully preformed
- Corrected. Hawkeye7 (talk) 07:38, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- What is Commander Fleet Air? Can't be too responsible if it's only a two-star position?
- He's in command of the aircraft units assigned to the fleet, but since most of them are in fact embarked on carriers, he has no operational role, and the post is an administrative one. You have to remember that three- and four-star flag officers were rare before 1945. Hawkeye7 (talk) 07:38, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
