Coffee quip
[edit]The present text claims that the original language for the infamous dictum by (probably) Rényi was German. I can't find any evidence for this claim, and think that this sentence should be removed as unverifiable original research, unless someone can produce a source. --Lambiam 12:19, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- Also, I assumed he coined the phrase rather than "inventing the quote". Tkuvho (talk) 15:42, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- I found a source that says that it probably wasn't in German, and added it to the article. I hope János Pach can be considered enough of an expert on this subject to allow a self-published source. —David Eppstein (talk) 16:40, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Schrödinger's degree?
[edit]"He was prevented from enrolling in university in 1939 due to the anti-Jewish laws then in force, but enrolled at the University of Budapest in 1940." How did he enroll? Did the law change(to more leniency!??)? Kdammers (talk) 23:51, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
