Why was info on Cilla's version blanked?
[edit]There's no edit summary given for the July 11 2013 blanking of all the info on the Cilla Black original recording but I can't think of what could possibly be a valid reason anyway. I'm manually undoing the deletion.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 01:36, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
Undoing additional vandalism
[edit]What's it all about? I've just realized the details of the Dionne Warwick version was also blanked! IP address 190.237.95.224 has evidently only ever edited Wikipedia on the occasion of July 11 2013 when he/she was moved to delete 5603 characters from this article plus 780 characters from the article on Britney Spears' Blackout album - all with no edit summary. I am of course manually undoing the blanking of the Dionne Warwick section. If editor 190.237.95.224 does return to this article - please do not again "prune" it without explanation. If this happens I will have no choice but to report this as vandalism.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 21:17, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
Key of Cilla Black version
[edit]Background section states "Bacharach usually plays it in the key of B-flat major live, the same key that Cilla Black sang it in." Yet the Cher section speaks of "Black's version of "Alfie" in F major". Can someone clarify which is the correct key - preferably with a source?--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 00:52, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
