Social websites are permissable as external links. Many public figures have their social sites linked to their articles. Every single drag queen that has appeared on RuPaul's drag race has the same links. Please stop vandalizing Mr. Mateo's article with your miscontrued policy. Nothing is being cited, therefore external links are included. --XLR8TION (talk) 01:29, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No they are not. See WP:FACEBOOK and WP:NOTFACEBOOK. If the official website is given, then no facebook, myspace, etc. I'm not vandalizing, I'm following procedure. If you see articles having external links to social websites while the official website is given, then remove it. Bgwhite (talk) 01:36, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There is NOTHING about advertising. These sites are a way for subject to reach out to others about current news , events, and appearances. Even the White House has a facebook link on their article. Every contestant on Drag Race has the same sites. NO ONE HAS COMPLAINED! Why are you complaining specifically on Mr. Mateo's article. YOU DO NO MAKE ANY SENSE!--XLR8TION (talk) 01:47, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please respect the 3RR. Discuss here before I move to next dispute reolution process. Do not revert! Wikipedia is not a site for antagonists--XLR8TION (talk) 01:49, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Read the wikilinks. Social networking sites are NOT allowed if Official website is given. If other sites have them, they should also be removed. I'm following Wikipedia policy, you are not. You are they one in violation of 3RR as you have reverted 3 times and are going against Wikipedia policy. Bgwhite (talk) 01:53, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Focused on writing articles on the atmosphere and wait until I file a dispute resolution request on topio. Question: Are you gay? --XLR8TION (talk) 01:56, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Becareful with your questions, as they can be seen as harassment. Also as you are the one who has been banned for 3RR before, I suggest you stop issuing threats and not start harassment. Bgwhite (talk) 01:59, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
<--If subjects need to be "reaching out" through their Wikipedia articles there's something seriously wrong. WP:ELNO is quite clear. As for some of the rest of your messages, see your talk page. Drmies (talk) 02:09, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have submitted a request with an editor who has volunteered to take a look at the subject of dispute and come to a resolution. I would first refer to the feedback provided by volunteer editors before moving on to the next steps in edit warring dispute resolution. Please allow first editor to analyze situation and provide feedback. Allow discussion to continue before I request a second opinion, and finally a third (if applicable) before moving to the boards.--XLR8TION (talk) 02:10, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Insulting? What insult? Do NOT put words in my mouth. It's apparent your opinion is quite biased by observing the request placed by other editor on your talk page. You should excuse yourself from this dispute and allow independent arbitrators to mediate.--XLR8TION (talk) 02:19, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You should stop asking people if they're gay and you should stop telling me what to do. I'd say your opinion is biased, since it's been pointed out that your opponent in this dispute was correct. There is nothing to discuss: these links should not show up in the External links section. One wonders whether you have a conflict of interest with the subject, given your need to "reach out" on their behalf. Drmies (talk) 02:23, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
