Recent edits were made, changing Epurenau's goals from 7 to 8. It is not the first time this has been done either. Now, based solely on national-football-teams.com, that would be correct. But databases can have mistakes, and therefore I would advise double-checking information and not just blindly trusting sources like NFT. Because in this case, there is a discrepancy between two databases, NFT and eu-football.info on how many goals Epureanu has scored for the national team. NFT says 8 goals, while eu-football says 7 goals. So, I decided to try and see if I could find out which one is right. The match in question is a friendly against Saudi Arabia in 2014. NFT claims Epureanu scored the second goal. However, the Moldovan Football Federation's match report credits the goal to Igor Picușceac, and you can clearly see it in the video which is included in the match report. The second goal is scored by number 9, who is Picusceac. Epureanu is number 6. I don't see how anyone could object this, based on the information presented, so I will therefore revert the recent edits. Sørhaug (talk) 07:42, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Very good, I'm sure I've been at fault for this edit before but I've added a note to his international goals explaining the discrepancy though feel free to reword it if it feels clunky. Felixsv7 (talk) 09:21, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
