Date of birth
[edit]Some sources give 24 September 1901 (eg yorku.ca, Library of Congress) and some give 24 August 1901 (eg GND). The Library of Congress quotes the Harvard University Gazette as source, GND quotes sources "NUC" (National union catalog - a Library of Congress manuscript collection), "LoC-NA" (CDMARC names, ie Library of Congress) and "Biogr. H Emigr." (Biographisches Handbuch der deutschsprachigen Emigration nach 1933). Though the German emigration handbook might prove otherwise, September seems most likely and some GND transcription error to be the cause of GND being wrong. A birth or marriage certificate would prove it one way or the other.
Wikidata holds both dates. I think the article can be left for now as 24 September 1901. Batternut (talk) 00:56, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- I've marked the September date as the preferred one on Wikidata, so it doesn't need to be set specifically in the infobox call here. I hope that's OK. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 21:36, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
Finny1217 (talk) 17:34, 19 February 2021 (UTC) Looking at the comment above, a possible secondary research on a birth date can be possible, but without any other clear evidence, it would probably be best to keep the date of birth at 24 September 1901.
MSTGolf2021 (talk) 17:49, 19 February 2021 Little to no information is given about childhood and there needs to be a section for evidence of research impact on the study of psychology.
Coconut Grove fire
[edit]As I was reading I noticed the Coconut Grove fire was mentioned in the intro, but in the body there was no mention of her work on it.17:53, 19 February 2021 (UTC) 17:53, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
