Scammell's birth date
[edit]An editor listed Scammell's birth as 1742, but this refers to a child of the same name who died soon after. The same source shows the birth date of the second son, also named Alexander, in 1747, who is the subject of this biography.NobelSavage (talk) 21:55, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
