"see also"

[edit]

May wikipedia articles have "see also" with list of other similar cases. Are there any to list here?

Possibly similar situation was with American soldier Roger Young.--Oleg Str (talk) 17:26, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Chinese guy Huang Jiguang (黄继光), although there isn't an article on him either. Shimo1989 (talk) 05:00, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

so short...

[edit]

This guy is a legend in Russia, why is his article so short here? Burnedthru 19:47, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI: "with his chest"

[edit]

"To cover <something> with one's own chest" (закрыть собственной грудью) is a Russian idiom carrying pompous overtones, that has been widely used in propaganda for ages. In neutral speech, it means "to cover with one's own body" and usually hints at the loss of one's life at that. -- Wesha (talk) 00:18, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

name and birthplace

[edit]

There are several versions about his origins. They are documented in ruwiki, but I DGAF to translate them to enwiki. 21:02, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
