Alex Taylor (American football) → Armani Taylor-Prioleau – Unnecessary move back to the original page name. WP:NATDIS applies here since he now professionally goes by Armani Taylor-Prioleau per his team and NFL.com profiles. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 13:29, 22 August 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). 162 etc. (talk) 14:12, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- Dissident93, your move has been reversed by Ortizesp, which makes this not uncontroversial. Frost 14:07, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- WP:NATDIS is a form of WP:COMMONNAME. His team and NFL profiles clearly do not list him as Alex (maybe they did earlier in his career). ~ Dissident93 (talk) 20:56, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

- Support per WP:NAMECHANGES. Note however that WP:NATURAL is not typically applicable when it comes to people's names. 162 etc. (talk) 14:15, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- Why would the policy not apply to a person's name? I've never heard anybody say that before. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 23:47, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
- Support, when I looked at all of the references on the page they listed him under his previous name "Alex Taylor", but on review it looks like recent articles as well as his own social media list him as "Armani Taylor-Prioleau". If there's an article that mentions his name change it would probably be useful too.--Ortizesp (talk) 17:25, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
