Do we really need this whole "the clap" thing in there? Kevin Nash was just making a joke, its not going to evolve into a storyline, take it off i say.

Managers

[edit]

When was Victoria Crawford (AKA Alicia Fox in WWE) his manager??? Her only wrestling appearances have been in WWE.

Shellshock

[edit]

In response to the edits, Tenay called it "Shellshock" on one of the last few PPVs (don't recall which one). And this isn't a dictionary, it's an encyclopedia. ;) --TheTruthiness 17:16, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So would it just be Shellshock or Shellshock II? --- Lid 20:30, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

At Hard Justice, Shelley performed a Celtic Cross and Tenay called it a Shellshock... On a somewhat similar, yet different note, in that same match I believe, Shelley hit a Double-knee Backbreaker and Tenay called it a Back Cracker...rip off of teh dubya dubya eee more plz? Maybe the double knee backbreaker section in Backbreaker should just be changed to "Back Cracker" i.e Emerald Frosion, Cutter, etc? -->So sayeth MethnorSayeth back|Other sayethings

Broken jaw

[edit]

>> Six months into his career, he was hospitalized with a shattered jaw when Petey Williams botched a Canadian Destroyer, and had steel plates inserted into his jaw as a result. <<

I have read in interviews that it was a trainee and that it was a hurricanrana that smashed his jaw - can anyone verify either way? Genericchimera 13:41, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

---In addition, I've also heard that it was his collarbone - or is this a separate incident worth mentioning? Genericchimera 10:54, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe Shelley states in his livejournal that it was indeed Petey Williams that shattered his jaw with a Canadian Destroyer.

Sliced Bread #2 / Shiranui

[edit]

I haven't really followed Alex Shelley, but I remember on of the announcers calling the move Shiranui when Shelley used it. I don't remember them calling it the Sliced Bread #2, but like I said, I don't follow Shelley. I was just curious about which name they use more when calling Shelley's matches. L2K 15:55, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • In Ring of Honor it was always called Slice Bread #2 because Spanky "taught" it to him. In TNA I don't think I've ever heard them flat-out name it, but on more than one occasion when he's done the move they've said stuff like "A little Sliced Bread from Shelley". Entertainment or Crime?

[edit]

Is the stuff about blackmail intended to be "in character" for the wrestlers, and part of the staged drama of the exhibition matches? Or is Patrick Martin actually being accused of the crime of blackmail? As written, this article and related ones don't make that point clear. 67.101.96.66 (talk) 04:10, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Final Resolution 2008

[edit]

For the time being, it looks like Final Resolution 2008 will have far-reaching consequences involving Alex Shelley and Mick Foley. Right now it has a sentence written about it, with no mention of anything important. If future plans, such as a feud between them and Lethal/Creed or a feud between him and Mick develop, this section should be expanded, as this PPV would be the basis for it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.230.214.207 (talk) 09:21, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Alex Shelley

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Alex Shelley's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 15:36, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
